Gia Blakey (Christine)

Gia Blakey is a rising sophomore in UCLA’s acclaimed undergraduate acting program. Additionally, she is double minoring in Public Affairs and Film & Television. She is an actress, writer, and filmmaker who is passionate about telling the untold stories of marginalized communities. As a young black artist, she actively advocates for proper representation within the entertainment industry and plans to be the change she wishes to see.

Kayla Maria Rodriguez (Eve & Nebula 3)

Kayla is a Hispanic New York native born and raised in the Bronx. She recently graduated with a BA in theatre from the City College of New York (CCNY). She attended an intense Shakespeare summer course at London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts (LAMDA) and has performed in several shows such as The Taming of the Shrew (Aaron Davis Hall), Top Girls (Aaron Davis Hall), and Macbeth (Marian Anderson Theatre). She continues to pursue her dream of acting and is grateful for all of her family and friends that support her on her beautiful journey.

Alex Church-Gonzales (Director)

Alex Church-Gonzales is a director-designer-artist-hyphenate who loves wearing many, many hats. Originally from California, she has a Bachelor’s degree in Directing from Pace University. She is currently a Resident Artist with Breaking & Entering Theatre Collective. Some previous credits include Everyone Hated Us (Dixon Place), A Play About Lucas Hnath… (NYC Winterfest), How To Make Friends And Then Kill Them (Stand Up! Productions), Small Town Icons (Breaking & Entering Theatre Collective), and Peter and the Starcatcher (Pace University).

Maggie Metnick (Aimee)

Maggie Metnick is so grateful to be a part of this piece. She currently performs multiple times a week doing improv on @sociallydistantimprov and is the host of the news satire show “Man Up.” She performed her solo show “12 Year Old Boys” with B&E as part of their Pre Emerging Artist Festival. Growing up freaking sucks, be kind to everyone, and be kind to yourself.

Stephanie Orta-Vázquez (Tasha & Nebula 1)

Stephanie Orta-Vázquez is a classically trained New York based actor and collaborator born and raised in Puerto Rico. Some of her recent work includes Salome (Irondale Center), Water Water Everywhere (Exquisite Corpse Company) and What You’ve Done (nominated Best Actress at NY Summerfest). Chloe Gluchanicz (Juno & Nebula 4)

Chloe Gluchanicz is an actress from Bristol, Maine and a recent graduate of the BA acting program at Pace University. She is so excited to be a part of this project and extremely grateful that her noisy dog managed to not bark during the recording process.

Asha Destini Printup (Choreographer)

Asha Destini Printup (Choreographer) is a New York based director and choreographer. She is a recent graduate of Pace University’s B.A. Directing Program (International Performance Ensemble). Asha would like to thank Breaking &  Entering Theatre Collective for providing a space for theater artists to explore new forms of collaboration.

Jerry Ng (The Alien)

Jerry Ng is a multidisciplinary artist based in Los Angeles. He graduated from UCLA's Acting Program in 2019 and is very excited to return to the role of The Alien. Currently he is cat-sitting a young kitten named Ruthie Mae and is trying as much time as he can to read -- singly and silently, of course. Fun facts: Jerry loves a good pat on the back, adores very delicious snacks, and...quack quack? @jerrymanderng

Kaley McConnaughey (Cindy & Nebula 2)

Kaley McConnaughey (She/Her) is a Senior Music Theatre and Vocal Performance double major at Oklahoma City University. She studies voice with professor Brenda Holleman, but since she was quarantined in her childhood home in Visalia, CA, she mostly studies the ceiling above her bed all by herself. Recent credits include Adam Laporte's June by the Sea, Pirates of Penzance, Little Women, and Urinetown.

Chloe Xtina (Playwright)

Chloe Xtina is a playwright and filmmaker with a focus on magical realism, girlhood, female desire, and the body. Her plays have been produced in London, Los Angeles, and the Bay Area, this new collab with Breaking and Entering marks her NYC debut! She recently completed her short film, The First Taste, which will premiere at The Tank's Fem Film Fest on August 28th. She is an undergrad playwriting student at UCLA. chloextina.com
