Katie Myers - Playwright
Katie Myers is a playwright, audio producer, reporter, and misc. writer in the mountain South. She's developed work through Primary Stages Echoes Writers Group, the Tennessee Stage Company, Chattanooga Theatre Centre, the Tiger Lily Theatre, Cattywampus Puppet Council, and Tennessee Playwrights Studio, among others. She has attended the Appalachian Writer’s Workshop, as well as residencies at Dear Butte and Sundress Academy for the Arts. You can also find her words at Grist, NPR, and the New Republic, among others. She writes about memory, history, ghosts, wilderness, climate grief, and smalltown politics.
Shaun Leisher - Director
Shaun Leisher (he/him/his) is a Pennsylvania-based theatre maker with a deep passion for new work. Sarina Freda
Sarina Freda is an actor and theatermaker. She has worked on several new plays with: Seaview, The O'Neill Center, Page73, Clubbed Thumb, The Playwrights Realm, New Georges and more. Last spring she played Gwen in Lobster, which was named one of the best plays of 2025 by Vulture/New York Magazine and The New Yorker. Drew Lewis is an actor & screenwriter. Leah Plante-Wiener is a playwright, performer, producer, and curator originally from Montreal. She is one half of noise theatre duo laialeah with Eulàlia Comas, with whom she runs the DIY performance venue box machine. I am Terese Soto. I just graduated from Lehigh University and have been acting since my freshman year of high school. Shoutout to the team of Black Play by H. Hasberry and the WOW Cafe Theater for providing me with my first Off-Broadway experience. I’m excited to keep exploring this art form!

Kayla LC Yee (she/her/hers) is a Posse Scholar from San Francisco, studying Management & Marketing at Lehigh University. She’s currently living out her dream of working in New York City and couldn’t turn down an opportunity to play another canine. Recent credits include Into the Woods (Narrator), Fefu and Her Friends (Cecilia), and Wolf Play (Wolf). Outside of theatre, you can usually find Kayla catching up on old art projects, curating new outfits, or planning her next matcha outing.
emily/BUBECK - Producer
is a Queer, Catholic, Appalachian theatre practitioner who facilitates the development and consumption of new works by traditionally underrepresented artists. She is drawn to projects that allow us to expand our ideas on how we tell stories and who those stories serve. This is her eighth summer producing the Rooftop Reading series and she hopes you have a blast!!
Michelle Chan - Producer
Michelle Chan (she/her) is a director, theatremaker, and producer from Hong Kong. She is a first-gen Taiwanese-American whose work attempts to redefine the roles fabricating the American culture, usually through intersections of gender, class and/or race. Her directing work has been seen at Ringling Museum/Asolo Rep, WP Theater, Dramatist Guild Foundation, Atlantic Stage 2, Connelly Theater, The Flea, Brick Aux, Theatre Row, Keen Company, Horizon Theatre, Hudson Guild Theatre, Dixon Place, The Tank, SERIALS, The Maker’s Space, Lime Arts, NYU, The American Opera Project, and fringe festivals across the nation. Molly Van Der Molen (she/her) is a playwright, director and creative producer based in NYC and the SF Bay Area. She’s a proud Co-Artistic Director of Breaking & Entering Theatre Collective and the Company Associate at Shotgun Players in Berkeley, CA. Molly is dedicated to curating opportunities for emerging artists and envisions a sustainable future for theatre that is radically collaborative, equitable and doesn’t shy away from what’s true. She’s a graduate of Marymount Manhattan College and a die hard lover of ice cream.
