Asha Futterman (Red)

Asha is a writer and actor from Chicago. She is currently a senior at Barnard College.

Nathan Mullen (Officer)

Nathan Mullen is a recent graduate of Wesleyan University (BA in Theater and Hispanic Literatures & Cultures - High Honors). In his work as a performer and theater artist, he aims to create space for multilingual storytelling and storytellers, forge long-lasting connections with community members, and challenge theatrical conventions through integrated creative collaboration. Selected acting credits: Gibson/Burns, Mr. Burns (Pirronne Yousefzadeh); Henry VI, Henry VI, Part II (Bryn Boice); Brian White, Smart People (Betsy Zaubler).

Xander Browne (Playwright & Director)

XANDER BROWNE is a theatermaker based in NYC and a recent graduate of Columbia University's directing program. He has worked with WP Theater, EST, SPACE on Ryder Farm, and the Kennedy Center on various productions, on and off stage.

Zora Iman Crews (Mom)

Zora Iman Crews is an Atlanta born; New York City raised actress/writer. Zora earned her BFA in Acting from Syracuse University in 2014 and is a proud LaGuardia High School Alum! Additionally, She is a recent graduate of Pratt Institute’s MFA in Writing program. Favorite past credits include The Bacchae at La MaMa Experimental Theatre Club, Richard III at Shakespeare’s Globe, and featured extra work on the Netflix original series Orange Is The New Black.

Tristan Rose Gillia (Stage Directions)

Tristan Rose Gillia is thrilled to be back working with Breaking & Entering! She’s an actor from Brooklyn, NY, who recently graduated with her BFA in Acting from Otterbein University. Previous credits include Cookie (Rumors), Lady Macduff (Macbeth), and Topanga in Small Town Icons in last year’s PEA Fest! She would like to thank the entire cast and crew, Xander Browne, and the entire Bethtrco company for letting her be a part of telling this important story.

Josh Reiter (Manager)

Josh is a Los Angeles based actor, director, and writer. He is thrilled to make his debut with Breaking & Entering Theatre Collective. Josh can be seen on the Peacock series, Saved By The Bell, and heard doing the English Dub for The Hockey Girls and Vampires on Netflix. BFA: CCM and a proud member of SAG-AFTRA. He’s repped by LB Talent and McCaffrey Talent Management.

Sam Franco (Haverty)

SAM is a NYC based actor who has not let a little global pandemic get in the way of his artistic endeavors! He is ecstatic to be a part of the new theatrical mediums that continue to evolve every day. In the days of live theater, Sam originated the role of Sonny in the Off-Broadway production of 'Abnormal'. Sam also has recently lent his voice to the haunting audio drama, 'Salem's Ghosts'. Sam currently studies with Ted Wold of Ted Wold Studio and Tessa Faye of Tessa Faye Talent. Sam is managed by Tsu Tsu Stanton of Tsu Tsu Unlimited.

Brooks Laney (Baxter)

Brooks Laney (he/him) is a Brooklyn based actor and graduate of The University of Texas at Austin. This is his second Rooftop Reading with Breaking & Entering and that’s pretty cool, isn’t it? @brookslaney

J.T. Wood (Bear)

J.T. Wood is an actor currently based in New York. His most recent credits include the Disney Cruise Line (aboard the Disney Dream) and the Rent 20th Anniversary Asia/National Tour. He graduated from Otterbein University in 2018. He’d like to thank Emily for reaching out to him for this project and to Xander for creating such a unique, exciting piece. Hope you all enjoy!
