Catherine Bloom - Playwright & Talia
Catherine Bloom is an actor and writer. She has had her work read/performed at and/or supported by Ars Nova, The Brick, Lincoln Center, ART New York, Harlot, Theater [Untitled], JACK, Brown Arts Institute, and more very cool places. She was a '22-'23 Ars Nova CAMP Resident, and is a current MFA Playwriting Candidate at Brooklyn College
Molly Van Der Molen - director & producer
Molly Van Der Molen (she/her) is a playwright, director and creative producer based in NYC and the SF Bay Area. Molly is dedicated to curating opportunities for emerging artists and envisions a sustainable future for the theatre industry that is radically collaborative, equitable and accessible. Georgia Kate Cohen - MaryAnn
Georgia Kate Cohen is an actor, born and raised in New York City. She has performed at Ars Nova, Theatre Row, The Tank, Dixon Place, Vineyard Theatre, HB Playwrights Theater, A.R.T/New York, and The Flea Theater - where she originated roles in World Premiere productions by Taylor Mac, Mac Wellman, and numerous cycles of Serials. Georgia still continues to perform regularly with Serials NYC, as a resident company member. Prior to pursuing acting, Georgia trained in classical ballet at the School of American Ballet and the University of North Carolina School of the Arts High School. Sofia Dobrushin - Rona
Sofia Dobrushin is a Brooklyn based multidisciplinary artist with a focus in comedy. With a BFA in Acting and an additional concentration in Directing, Sofia booked a role on one of her favorite TV Shows: HBO's High Maintenance. Sofia completed an Ars Nova Residency CAMP (Comedy Artist Makers Program) in 2023 developing original comedic work with her collaborator Catherine Bloom. Sofia's directing work has been the official selection of Brooklyn Women's Film Festival, Austin Comedy Short Film Festival, New Filmmakers Festival, and Nobudge. Some of Sofia’s additional on screen work includes: Mean Girls (2024), Booger (2023), WeCrashed (2022). FBI (2024) Catch her Tribeca debut this June!
Connie Hall - Ginny
Connie Hall is a creator, performer, and producer of new work in New York and abroad. From 2006-2018, Connie ran a pop-up supper club/ensemble theater company called Conni’s Avant Garde Restaurant (2012 NY Innovative Theatre Awards for Outstanding Ensemble and Performance Art Production), performing and cooking for thousands in Cleveland, Cambridge, Louisville, Nashville, and New York City. She is a repeat performer at Shakespeare in Stonington (ME), and she has enjoyed longtime collaborations as a contributing performer with Aya Ogawa, Jeanette Yew, Jeffrey Frace, Paul Bargetto/ the undergroundzero festival, and International WOW Company. Connie is the Literary Services Manager at New Dramatists, and she has served on the staffs of Theatre Development Fund and Theatre Communications Group. Connie lives in Beacon on the mountain, where she likes to host artists and hikers alike. She is a site educator at Manitoga, and is an associate producer of the Soon is Now annual climate change theater action in Long Dock Park in Beacon. She holds an MFA in Acting from Columbia University.
Jill Pangallo - Deb
Jill Pangallo is a New York City-based actor, writer, and producer whose multidisciplinary work spans theater, film/TV, digital content, stand-up, and movement. Rooted in themes of identity, aging, visibility, and belonging, her projects use humor as both an entry point and an equalizer, transforming discomfort into connection and revealing truth through laughter. Pangallo has performed, produced, and written extensively at venues including Joe's Pub, wild project, and La MaMa, where she most recently premiered Swallows, a seven-actor play. She holds an MFA in Transmedia from the University of Texas at Austin and is an alumna of residencies at Skowhegan, Pioneer Works, and La MaMa Umbria. @PingPongBallo
emily/BUBECK - stage directions & producer
is a Queer, Catholic, Appalachian theatre practitioner who facilitates the development and consumption of new works by traditionally underrepresented artists. She is drawn to projects that allow us to expand our ideas on how we tell stories and who those stories serve. This is her eighth summer producing the Rooftop Reading series. Michelle Chan - Producer
Michelle Chan (she/her) is a director, theatremaker, and producer from Hong Kong. She is a first-gen Taiwanese-American whose work attempts to redefine the roles fabricating the American culture, usually through intersections of gender, class and/or race. Her directing work has been seen at Ringling Museum/Asolo Rep, WP Theater, Dramatist Guild Foundation, Atlantic Stage 2, Connelly Theater, The Flea, Brick Aux, Theatre Row, Keen Company, Horizon Theatre, Hudson Guild Theatre, Dixon Place, The Tank, SERIALS, The Maker’s Space, Lime Arts, NYU, The American Opera Project, and fringe festivals across the nation. She was recently named Breaking & Entering Theatre Collective’s newest co-Artistic Director, and is also an associate Member of SDC. michchan.com @michellechaann
Josh Reiter - stage directions
Josh is a New York-based actor, director, and producer. His performance credits span regional theaters like Saratoga Shakespeare Company, West Coast Jewish Theatre, and the Know Theatre of Cincinnati, as well as on-screen appearances in Peacock's Saved By The Bell, Nickelodeon's Warped!, BET's The Michael Blackson Show, and the upcoming feature Concessions (Mas Bodi). He has appeared Off Broadway in Ze Follies Doree and has been working closely with B&E since 2022.
